Your audience will let you know what they think in 5 minutes flat. And most people give solid constructive criticism that you can use to make your ebook even better. As for the rest, dont listen. Just say NEXT and move on!
2. Not Using A System: When you dont have a system you are essentially recreating the wheel every time you write an ebook! What happens is people pour their heart and soul into their ebooks. They exhaust themselves. And, when they are all done they dont really know how they did it so they are afraid to do it again.
With a system you know that you are following a proven process that works every time because others have used it successfully before you! Remember system stands for save yourself time, energy and money! So make sure you use a system! Its fast easy, and the most efficient way to write ebooks!
3. Forgetting To Leverage Your eBook: Your ebook is a wealth of information. And people learn in different ways. So your $27 or $47 ebook could be turned into an audio book that could sell from $47 to $97. You could also turn it into a notebook that could sell from $47 to $297 or $400 depending on your target market.
You could also turn it into a home-study course ($397-$497), an audio-coaching program ($199-$247) and a coaching program ($2,000 to $5,000 or more!). Its the same information but by LEVERAGING it into different products you can make thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars!
4. Editing And Judging While Writing: This is the fastest way to get stuck at the very least and at most to give up completely! When you start judging before you've finished writing, it stops you from getting your thoughts out on paper because you're worrying about how it sounds instead of just focusing on the ideas. So give yourself permission to get your ideas out first. You can come back and edit later. And, youll be amazed at how much faster you can write if you just stop judging and editing while you write.
5. Writing About You Instead Of The Benefit To Your Potential Customers: People want to know what the benefit is to them of what you are saying. They dont care about you-except for how it relates to them and their problems. If you write an ebook and you have a lot more I's instead of Yous then you better rethink it.
Always remember who you are writing for and cater to what your target market wants to know that you understand; then provide a solution that will knock their socks off!
